Provides easy, fast starting of gasoline and diesel engines at low temperatures, in high humidity and with poor-quality fuel. Reduces the load on the ignition system and the battery. Used in cars and trucks, buses, tractors and construction equipment.
DONEWELL® DR-9561 Starting Fluid can be used for the first start after long-term storage of scooters, mopeds, ATVs, snowmobiles and garden equipment (chainsaws, lawn mowers, tillers, etc.).
Application
Caution! Do not use while the engine is running. Do not use on engines with flame-start intake air heating. To avoid backfire, do not start the engine with the air filter removed.
- To start a gasoline engine, spray the product into the air filter or the intake manifold for 2–3 seconds and start the engine.
- To start a diesel engine, switch off the glow plugs and intake air heaters (grid heaters), open the throttle, spray the product into the intake manifold for 1–2 seconds, reinstall the air filter and start the engine.
- If the engine does not start, repeat the procedure once or twice, waiting 2–3 minutes between attempts.
To diagnose the fuel system, spray the product into the intake manifold and crank the engine with the starter. If the engine starts, runs smoothly for a few seconds and then stalls, the fuel system is faulty. Check the fuel filter, fuel line, injector, carburetor valves and jets, fuel pump, etc. If there is no response after several attempts, look for the cause in the ignition system, the valve train, etc.
